Add or edit a username in your account

You can now add a username or edit your existing username directly through the catalog.

A username can be used to log into your catalog account in place of your library card #

Your username is CASE INSENSITIVE! No matter how you enter it, it will show up as uppercase in your record!

Log into https://search.clevnet.org, and click on "My Account", then access the "Personal Information" tab.

If you don't have a username on your record, you can add one through the "Add a username to your record" link in the username field.

Add phone or email to your account

If you don't have a mobile phone, a home phone, or an email address on your record in the public catalog, you can now add one.

  • Log into https://search.clevnet.org, and click on "My Account", then access the "Personal Information" tab.
  • Find the "add phone/email to your record" link below your contact information.

Items in transit to fill holds now indicated in catalog

With the recent catalog upgrade, you can now see when items are placed in transit to fill your hold. The catalog will display a truck icon, indicating your item is in delivery.  To see your holds, please log in, click on "My Account", then click on the "Holds" tab.

Steps to Search for Upcoming Movies That are "On Order"

  1. Change the Everything dropdown to DVD and Blu-ray Only
  2. Click the orange Search button (with no search terms).  This will return all titles with a DVD or Blu-Ray item in the CLEVNET catalog.


     

  3. Next, scroll forward to use the search facets on the left panel to limit the results.

Problems with Passwords

If you are trying to log in and you find that you can't, try entering the letters in your password as uppercase.  Once you have logged in you can change your password back to the original case.  To do that go to "My Account" and then click on the "Personal Information" tab.  Then look for the "Change PIN/Password" link.  Select that and then fill out the PIN information.

If that fails you can reset your password by using this page https://www.clevnet.org/node/7.

New Catalog Start Time

We will transition to the new CLEVNET catalog at 9:00 pm on June 15.  If you are a list user please remember that any changes made to your lists on June 13 and 14 will not be transferred to the new system.

List Migration to the New Catalog

Because of the transition to the new CLEVNET catalog on June 14th any changes made to your lists or shelves on or after June 13th will not be migrated to the new system.  You should be able to access your shelves/lists in the new catalog by the evening of the 14th. Thank you for your patience during this transition. 
 

New CLEVNET Catalog Coming

On June 14th the CLEVNET catalog is changing.  The software powering the search is changing from Bibliocommons to Enterprise. There are a few reasons for this change. The most important of which is that the new catalog  will have a much deeper integration with our eMedia offerings such as OverDrive and Hoopla.  These integrations will allow you to download your materials directly from the catalog as well as manage your electronic checkouts.

As June 14th approaches we will be posting more information about the changes and enhancements for our new catalog.
